So Peter told me that Chris Carter had a pilot on Amazon. So of course I was excited/interested. I didn't have to work last night - so we had our "date night". I think someone needs to collect funds and send CC a thesaurus. I was hesitant when I saw the MA rating, I should have shut it off then and there. It was just awful awful awful, crappy writing. I have no idea how a man that managed to create smart intelligent well written characters in the past has suddenly become an unimaginative sloppy writer who has to resort to dropping the F-bomb for every other word. I can't image in real life anyone talks that way (please tell me there aren't people that crass). The scene where the actress is disgusted with a script and throws it in the trash - that is exactly what should have happened. The language was just ridiculous. There is no reason for it - and I guess he figured well, since I'm already getting an MA rating - lets just throw in a skinny dipping scene. *rolls eyes* It *could* have potential - but CC seriously needs to stop writing (if this is an example of his best work - aye...) and hire some people that can write scary/smart/sexy. If the credits didn't have his name (or the 1013 joke), I would not have thought there was any connection what-so-ever.

Okay, whoa, back up here - what is this series? I havent heard anything yet (except your ghastly review which makes me thing i was correct to write off Chris Carter back in Season 8 of TXF).
Oh and yes I've met people who cuss like a sailor, proverbially speaking, all the time, for no reason, like it's just the air they breathe. one guy told me that it's only when you withhold these words that you give them power to be offensive. hmmm.
and on an unrelated note, drat, the lights just went out here. we have rolling blackouts because our energy supply is limited. so its good night from me before my battery goes out.

Well, from what Peter told me - Amazon has a bunch of pilot shows from various directors and they will supposedly turn the highest rated show into a series.
I suppose the fact that it will only be shown on Amazon is why people feel they can get away with the horrid MA rating.

So, what was this horrible show, and what happened to it??? Did it "end" after the Pilot, or did it somehow manage to survive???
